LATA Foundation Autumn News

In June 2020, the LATA Foundation set up its emergency Covid-19 appeal in a response to the devastating impact the global pandemic is having in Latin America. The appeal provides small grants to a range of charities and organisations that have been severely impacted as a result of the global pandemic.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined out first LATA Foundation virtual pub quiz last night. We were delighted to see a whole array of colourful Latin-American themed fancy dress and a great competitive spirit.

Virtual pub quiz to raise money for emergency Covid-19 appeal

The LATA Foundation will be hosting its annual pub quiz virtually on Tuesday, 28th of July (19:30 – 21:30) to raise emergency funds for its Covid-19 appeal.

In 2020, the LATA Foundation will be supporting ten core projects across Brazil, Ecuador, Costa Rica, Peru, Venezuela, Nicaragua and Guatemala.

The LATA Foundation raises over £2,000 at annual pub quiz

The LATA Foundation has raised over £2000 at its annual travel industry pub quiz which took place on 4 June in central London and was attended by over 90 travel industry guests. All the funds will be invested into the LATA Foundation’s core charity initiatives in Latin America.
