The LATA Foundation has raised over £2000 at its annual travel industry pub quiz which took place on 4 June in central London and was attended by over 90 travel industry guests. All the funds will be invested into the LATA Foundation’s core charity initiatives in Latin America.

The Azuero Earth Project focuses on environmental education, reforestation, habitat restoration and sustainable land use in the Azuero Peninsula which is fast becoming one of Panama’s tourist hot spots. The refuge contains diverse and vitally important ecosystems – beaches, mangroves, dunes and marshes and although protected by law, it is increasingly threatened by coastal development.
