A huge thank you to everyone who took part in LATA Challenge 100: Amazon 2026, and to everyone who supported the Challenge by donating, sharing it or encouraging colleagues and teammates.
Together, we raised £8,299 towards our £10,000 target. Every pound raised will contribute to the LATA Foundation’s 2027 project fund, helping us support locally led projects across Latin America that create livelihoods, protect biodiversity and cultural heritage, and build opportunities for communities through sustainable tourism.
20,025 km along the Amazon

The Challenge brought together LATA members from across the travel industry with a shared goal: for at least 100 LATA members to each cover 100 km and raise £100, while collectively travelling the length of the Amazon.
We set out to cover 6,400 km, but together participants covered an incredible 20,025 km — more than three times the distance we set out to travel.
Participants walked, ran, cycled, swam, went paddling and canoeing, and found all sorts of creative ways to get their kilometres in.

Help us reach our £10,000 target
Individual fundraising pages remain open for a short time, so there is still an opportunity to help us reach our £10,000 fundraising target.
If you took part but haven’t received donations yet, you can still share your fundraising page with colleagues, friends and family.
You can also support the Challenge with a direct donation through the LATA Challenge 100 Enthuse page.

Thank you
Thank you again to everyone who took part and supported LATA Challenge 100. Together, you turned 20,025 km of activity into funding for the LATA Foundation’s work across Latin America.
