Final push to support the Peruvian Porters

As we reach the final week of the #PERU25for25 challenge, we have been absolutely bowled over by the response to this campaign. On Monday 22 March, we reached an incredible milestone of £10,000 with 40 supporters participating in the challenge to walk or run 25 miles (the length of the Inca Trail) during the month of March to support out-of-work Inca Trail porters and their family with monthly essential food parcels.

LATA FOUNDATION 25FOR 25 CHALLENGE

Today the LATA Foundation, LATA’s charitable arm, has launched the PERU 25for25 Challenge to raise funds for out-of-work Inca Trail porters in Peru.

Over £6000 raised for the LATA Foundation in first ‘Captains of Industry’ Event

The Latin American Travel Association (LATA) has raised over £5800 for the LATA Foundation projects and the Sol & Luna Association, in its first ‘captains of industry’ lunch.
Organised by LATA and the LATA Foundation in conjunction with the Sol y Luna Association, the event took place on 21 November at Gaucho, Piccadilly, welcoming key members of the UK and Latin American travel industries for a first-of-its-kind fundraising event.
